Financial Coach and Educator, CDFA tm
Victoria “Vicky” Lowell is a financial educator dedicated to empowering women with the knowledge to become active participants in the planning of their financial future and well-being.
Born and raised in Florida, Vicky learned the value of an entrepreneurial spirit by working alongside her parents in their family business while in college. That experience nurtured what would come to be her passion, helping other entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, as she majored in organization management and human resources at Florida International University.
In 2012, she narrowed her focus to finance at UBS Financial Services Inc. (UBS) where she began as a client service associate. In that role, she was instrumental in creating educational content for clients and carrying out concierge-level service for The Lowell Group. In 2017, she made the natural transition to financial advisor where she implemented a comprehensive and holistic approach to financial planning.
Additionally, Vicky has worked with various entities from the S.O.S. Organization at the Sloan School at MIT, the Junior League of Greenwich, Connecticut and locally with Baptist Hospital Foundation. Endeavors like these fostered her desire to help empower women in her community to better their lives in all aspects but, primarily, through financial independence and knowledge.
While engaging in frank, open dialogue with women in the community, she came to realize the importance of educating women about their finances. To that end, in addition to financial planning, she enhanced her knowledge of the immediate and long-term financial implications of divorce as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®).
In late 2018, she left UBS to follow her passion of helping women assert themselves fiscally and founded Empowered Worth, a resource for financial coaching geared toward educating women to not only meet their immediate economic needs but attain long-term goals. She provides the tools needed to empower women of all ages.
When she isn’t emboldening women to take charge of their finances, Vicky is mother to two daughters and a loving wife to her husband Carlos. She enjoys cooking for family and friends, traveling, tending to her organic vegetable garden and playing with her labs Oreo and Kahleesi. She also serves on the board of the Baptist Hospital Foundation.
